What actions can be done by pressing the power button on the head unit?
The PLT 400 is a single button tool - designed to be operated nearly exclusively by the software. The head unit is purposefully left to be a sing-button tool. Here are the actions of using that button:
| POWER BUTTON ACTION | BEHAVIOR DESCRIPTION |
| Hold button for 1 second | Power off the instrument. Note, after the tool is turned on, it will attempt to calibrate before it will allow you to turn it off in this way. Note the force turn off method below that can be an option if needed. |
| Hold button for 2 seconds and 2 short presses | Force instrument to switch off. Do not remove the battery to do a force switch off. |
| Simply press button | Turn on the instrument |
