Sometimes, when opening the camera, you may see a white screen rather than the camera's view. This often happens because a service is running in the background of the tablet that is taking over the camera, rather than allowing it to show the PLT.
On the tablet's start menu, search for "Services," and then search for "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service."
Then, right click and say "Stop" the service, followed by going to the "Properties" tab and making the startup type for this service to be a "manual." By default, this service is set to manual. If it changes to "automatic," it could consume the camera of the PLT and cause a white screen.
