Info Application - How To

  • Updated

The info application gives you information about points, lines, arcs, and circles within your digital file. You will observe length of objects, start and end point coordinates, and radius information. The application even gives information about points that are not technically in your point file, such as tapping on ends of lines, or searching for the center point coordinate of the center of a circle.

How to Use the Info Application?

  1. Open Your Project: Start by opening any project on your tablet.
  2. Open Application: Either from the home screen or from the side menu in CAD view.
    • If you do not have the 'Info Application' in the home screen, select add shortcut and add the application shown below.
  3. Select Relevant Objects: Follow the prompts to get your output.

Once you have the "Info" application open, click on any object in your file and the object's information should appear on the right hand side. This applies to any line, point, arc, or circle. If you want to see the measurements of a curved line or arc please refer to the Length of Line, Arc or Circle Application

Understanding the Output

In this example, the output on the right hand side shows the CAD coordinates of both the starting point and the end point of the line in relation to your CAD file. The line length and the CAD layer of the element are also shown.

For circles and arcs, the radius is listed.
