How to Use and Modify the Home Screen

Navigating the Home Screen

The HCL home screen is your main hub that is fully customizable. It is organized as follows:

1. Home Screen Shortcut: This button will be accessible everywhere to return to your home screen.
2. Stationing Shortcut: This button will lead you to the settings for the software and tool.
3. Tool and Tablet Battery Condition: Observe current battery remaining of both devices.
4. Help Icon: Use this icon to obtain support.
5. Power Button for HCL: Use this button to exit (turn off) the HCL application on the tablet, to restart the tablet, or to shut down the tablet.
   • Note: if you are struggling to access the Window's tablet's desktop while HCL is open, press the Windows logo icon at the bottom of the tablet, and you should be able to minimize the HCL application temporarily.
6. Core Applications: These applications always remain on your home screen, as they will be commonly accessed.
7. Shortcut Option: Add shortcuts as needed to your preferences.

Adding Shortcuts

To add an application, simply press the "plus" icon on the home screen and choose the application from the application list.

To remove an application, simply long press the application on the home screen and indicate that you would like to "delete" or "replace" that short cut.
