Continue holding the A2 button until the BIOS password screen appears.

5. Enter the BIOS Password

When prompted, enter the password:

Hilti

The password is case-sensitive. Use CAP to enter the capital letter.

Press Enter to continue.

6. Open the Recovery Partition

In the list of boot devices, select Recovery Partition and double-click it.

7. Start the Recovery Process

The PLC 600 will automatically begin the restoration process.

8. Restore Factory Settings

During the recovery:

  • The Windows partition will be erased
  • The operating system will be restored
  • Factory default settings will be applied

9. Complete the Recovery

Once the process is finished, the factory settings have been restored successfully.

Shut down the PLC 600.

Result

The PLC 600 has now been reset to its factory state and is ready for setup and configuration. Any previously stored customer data has been removed.
