Draw Line Application - How To

This application is quite intuitive. This application allows you to draw lines between points. You even have the option of drawing lines "live" as a type of "measure and record" function. If adding lines between points on your digital plan is important to you, this is a great application to do so.

Simply put, tap two points, and a line is drawn. Alternatively, switch on "live measurements" and you can measure in lines as you measure points with the tool.

See below for a more detailed how-to tutorial.

Open the application:

From the home screen or from the CAD View screen, open the application:

From here, you are automatically invited to click on two points of your choosing and draw a line between them. Press the green check mark to accept:

You can then repeat the process as often as you need.

Using Live Measurements

As long as you are stationed (where the tool knows its coordinate location), you will be able to draw lines as you measure with the tool, very similar to the measure and record application.

Simply open up the right side window and turn live measurements "on."

Now, press the red measure button where it will make a preliminary point in red:

As the tool turns or rotates, a dark red line will indicate where you have moved and where the line will be drawn when you press the measure button again:

Press the red measure button to finalize the line, followed by the green check mark. If you do not press the green check mark the line will not be saved in the digital file. Note, only the line will be saved, not the points that you measured to create the line:
