How to Utilize the Joystick when Connected via Bluetooth

When Bluetooth mode is active, opening CAD View and then Camera View no longer displays the live video feed from the total station. Instead, the screen shows the CAD drawing alongside a set of remote-control tools that allow you to navigate the total station.

The joystick becomes the primary method of controlling the total station. Using it, you can rotate the instrument horizontally and vertically to aim at the desired location.

The HA (Horizontal Angle) indicator shows the current horizontal orientation of the total station. You can think of this as a top-down view indicating which direction the instrument is facing.

The VA (Vertical Angle) indicator displays the current vertical angle and shows how far upward or downward the instrument is pointing.

For more precise adjustments, you can switch from the joystick to the fine adjustment crosshair. This mode allows slower and more accurate movements, making it easier to precisely position the instrument.

A lock icon is available to limit movement to a single axis. Repeatedly pressing the icon cycles through three modes: free movement, horizontal-only movement, and vertical-only movement. This helps prevent accidental movement in the wrong direction during fine adjustments.

The final control icon automatically moves the PLT to a vertical angle of 90 degrees. This provides a quick way to return the instrument to a straight-up position before continuing with other operations.
